1. TFEL Practicum Opportunities 

In response to the current COVID-19 Pandemic, TFEL acknowledges the need to adapt practica to virtual formats and to support virtual practicum opportunities for social work students. For this reason, TFEL will offer practicum activities to support self-directed virtual practicum placements for BSW and MSW students, starting in the Spring/Summer 2020 term. 

Please see the attached document for a list of topic areas, and contact us at tfelproject@gmail.com if you have questions, or to express your interest in participating in these opportunities. Please share this information with your practicum students.

2. Survey on the State of Field Education

TFEL has developed and piloted a survey on the state of field education in Canada, which will be made available to Field Directors and Coordinators in May 2020! We’re excited to have reached this next step in the partnership project.  Preliminary findings will be shared at our Virtual Field Summit on July 14, 2020.

1. TFEL Opportunités de stage 

En réponse à la pandémie actuelle de COVID-19, TFEL reconnaît la nécessité d’adapter les stages aux formats virtuels et de soutenir les opportunités de stages virtuels pour les étudiant.e.s en travail social. Pour cette raison, TFEL offrira des activités de stage pour soutenir les stages de stage virtuels autogérés pour les étudiant.e.s BSW et MSW, à partir du trimestre printemps / été 2020. 

Veuillez consulter le document ci-joint pour obtenir une liste des sujets et contactez-nous à tfelproject@gmail.com si vous avez des questions ou pour exprimer votre intérêt à participer à ces opportunités. Veuillez partager cette information avec vos étudiant.e.s en stage.

2. Enquête sur l’état de la formation en stage 

TFEL a élaboré et piloté une enquête sur l’état de la formation des stagiaires au Canada, qui sera mise à la disposition des directeurs et coordonnateurs des stages en mai 2020! Nous sommes ravis d’avoir franchi la prochaine étape du projet de partenariat. Les résultats préliminaires seront partagés lors de notre sommet de stage virtuel le 14 juillet 2020.
