The TFEL partnership is pleased to support social work student practicum opportunities. We invite BSW and MSW students to submit an expression of interest to TFEL for their social work field placement. 

Practicum student responsibilities include managing research ethics applications and amendments, contributing to digital storytelling and a national study in Canada, analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data, drafting publications and reports, contributing to knowledge mobilization activities (peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, webinars, workshops, etc.), participating in project meetings and events, and other duties as required.  

Please note that we offer opportunities for paid practicum. It is an expectation that a practicum student will have access to a laptop or computer and reliable internet to engage in virtual project activities.
