The TFEL project invites you to join in the “Meet the Author” Speaker Series to discuss the newly published book: “Transforming Social Work Field Education: New Insights from Practice Research and Scholarship”.
Dr. Kaltrina Kusari will present her book chapter “Field Education, Disability, and COVID-19: Navigating a Virtual World”. Join the author to learn more about Kaltrina’s experience of being a field supervisor during COVID-19 and have an opportunity to discuss and explore this topic together.
About the Author:
Kaltrina Kusari received her PhD in Social Work from the University of Calgary. She is currently teaching as a sessional instructor at the Faculty of Social Work, University of Calgary. In the past, she has worked within the disability sector in Calgary, where she also served as an Adjunct Professor, supervising both BSW and MSW students during their field placement. In addition to field education, her research interests include refugee resettlement, return migration, and immigrants with disabilities.
